Location: Along the tramway route, Christchurch city centre
This is another prime attraction in
Christchurch. The
Christchurch tramway plies along the 2.5 km circling route around Christchurch's best attractions, including
Cathedral Square,
Arts Centre and
Canterbury Museum. The drivers also act as a tour guide and explain all the tourist attractions along the way.
The
ticket prices are $14 for adults, and $4 for children. Children under 5 years old can travel for free. However, I purchased the combo tickets for the tram and the
Gondola, for $30 (adult). I planned to take the gondola on Thursday, together with my Indonesian friends and a Mongolian friend here.
