After
Hougang, our next destination for the day is
Tampines. This is the biggest halal bihalal (Eid gathering) event for the day. Hosted by
Ellen,
Wiwie and the rest of the Tampines gang, the event is conducted at a communal hall next to Block 727 Tampines Street 71.
We reached there at around 12:30pm. I and
Ikhsan greeted those we know. Mind us, there are many people there, it's not possible for us to know everyone there. :) Surprisingly, a lot of people recognize Muda Ikhsan from his name, since he's quite an active member of the
Indo-Sing mailing list.
The communal hall is located next to a playground, therefore of course, Inka and Irza were happily playing there with their friends. I noticed Irza immediately played with
Zidan, while Inka, as usual, needed some time before she can mingle with her friends such as
Hanifa,
Hanan, Aily and
Athaya.
How about the food? Don't ask. :) There's plenty of food, and despite a lot of people, supply of food seemed to be always in order. Even when the event ended, there's still some foods left so as usual, para ibu performed their usual "penjarahan" ritual to save all the leftover food. :)
The event ended at around 2pm, and we decided to go home first to have a rest, before going to our next destination,
Braddell, in the evening.
to be continued...
