On the same day (Monday, 15 October 2007), after attending our big family's Hari Raya Event, we went to Uwa Udjo and Uwa Enong's house, also in Buah Batu area, south east of Bandung.

The next day (Tuesday, 16 October 2007), I took Inka and Irza to one of their favourite places in Bandung, Jalan Ganesha, in front of ITB's main campus. They were having a great time riding horses and taking a horsecart ride. For them, a visit to my hometown is not complete without taking a horse's ride.

On Tuesday late afternoon, we went back to Jakarta.

On Sunday, 14 October 2007, we went to Bandung for us to celebrate Hari Raya Idul Fitri with our relatives in Bandung.

For this year, the Hari Raya Idul Fitri event for my father's big family is conducted in Bandung, and not in Tasikmalaya, which is my parents' hometown. My grandmother came from Tasikmalaya to Bandung for this event. Therefore, we didn't have to go to Tasikmalaya for this year's Hari Raya.

Unfortunately my wife was unable to join us so that she could accompany Nenek (her mom) in Jakarta. Nenek was just discharged from hospital several weeks earlier.

We left Cinere in the morning and stopped at one of the rest areas along Jakarta-Cikampek expressway around Cikarang for late breakfast at Simpang Raya restaurant. We reached Bandung in the afternoon.

From Villa Cinere Mas, we proceeded to my parents' house in Puri Cinere to attend their open house event. My parents invited all their sons, their wives and their in-laws' (besan) families for a big family gathering and silaturahmi.

By that time, our stomach was already full so we didn't eat much there (even though the signature dish is my mother's "tongue steak" or steak lidah). We took the opportunity to have a chat with all my parents' in-laws.

I noticed that Inka also had a serious discussion with Aunty Dian, which is Aunty Ria (my sister in-law)'s elder sister, although most of Inka and Irza's time was spent playing and having fun with Alif and Kayla, their cousins.

Still on the same day, Saturday, 13 October 2007, in the evening, we went to my wife's cousin's house in Villa Cinere Mas, not far from my parent's house in Puri Cinere. Inka and Irza were very tired so that they were dozed off for a while in the car on our way there.

We were greeted by Papa Dodi, Mama Indha and their adorable daughter, Naya. The host also prepared some homemade "baso tahu siomay", which is very very delicious. :)
